A Christian Has A Duty to Defend the Weak- from prolifetoolkit.com

A CHRISTIAN HAS A DUTY TO DEFEND THE WEAK:

Many Biblical teachings command that we help, rescue, and defend persons who are weak, friendless, or poor. Can there be any person weaker and more in need of help than an unborn baby? God expects the Christian to champion the cause of unborn children about to be slaughtered by abortion.

  • Psalm 82:3-4: (3) Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. (4) Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.
  • Proverbs 31:8-9: (8) "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. (9) Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."
  • Proverbs 12:6: The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood, but the speech of the upright rescues them.
